BSB - Bottle Storage Boxes
Our Bottle Storage Boxes are designed for the storage of finished plastic bottles. They are produced according to your requirements and depending on the bottle type and storage conditions.
A strap system inside the BSB reduces the static pressure on the lower bottles, thus preventing the bottles’ deformation.
To protect the bottles from dust and dirt, we developed a roller blind system that seals the BSB.
Opening and closing during filling and emptying are also made much easier by our roller blind system.
With our peripheral systems – the vibration stations – we can additionally support the filling and emptying of the BSBs. These stations are integrated into the control system.
If necessary, a pulse is triggered, which enables optimal filling and rapid emptying.

Is there a standard size for the BSB?
The BSB are specially developed according to customer specifications, such as bottle type, storage conditions, etc.
What are the most common sizes of the BSB?
Over the years, the following four sizes have proven to be most used:
- 2,4m x 2,4m x 3,6m (l x w x h)
- 2,4m x 1,2m x 3,6m (l x w x h)
- 1,2m x 1,2m x 2,6 (l x w x h)
- 1,2m x 1m x 2,6m (l x w x h)
Can the bottles be deformed/damaged by the total storage weight?
The integrated strap system essentially prevents damage. The box interior varies depending on the size of the BSB and the type of bottle to be stored.
Of course, other factors such as the temperature of the bottles when filling the BSB, also play a significant role.
Considering all the parameters, you can assume a positive result.
What is the lifespan of a BSB?
Our BSBs have been in use for well over ten years. Of course, this requires careful handling (especially regarding logistics) and professional maintenance.
Further requirements to be considered include appropriate staff training, regular maintenance, timely replacement of worn parts, etc.
Are there supporting devices for the filling/emptying process?
Yes, we offer so-called vibration stations for the BSB. These receive impulses from the control of the production line, thus optimizing filling and emptying.
Are the BSB also suitable for bottle preforms?
No. Our Metal Cages are ideal for storing bottle preforms.
